Phil Birchall 2006 - 2008
Trained at Laine Theatre Arts

Phil attended 'The Hatton School of Performing Arts' from a young age but on and off. Once he decided to start taking dance seriously, he began to start every style of dance and singing and acting at the age of 15. While at the Hatton school of performing arts, Phil received great lessons and began to learn so much about technique and performance. He also was lucky enough to be able to work with amazing friends/choreographers of Julie's who let him experience the professional industry at a young age.

At 16 Phil was offered 'Spirit of Christmas ' in Ireland and while in his first year summer holidays, he also got to do the Bridlington Spa Summer Season. This made Phil decide he wanted to make dance/musical theatre his career. When he told Julie Hatton he wanted to go to a stage school in London she gave up a lot of time and effort to push him to get to the standard to be able to get in to the college that he aimed for. He really appreciates it so much because without her, he wouldn't be where he is now.

Phil left the Hatton School of Performing Arts, at the age of 17, having gained a full scholarship to 'Laine Theatre Arts' on their 3 year musical theatre course. Since then, Phil has appeared in many music videos, pantomimes and also the Royal variety Performance and other television credits. He is also represented by numerous top agencies and is currently featuring in 'The man in the mirror' World Tour - the Michael Jackson inspired show. He has so many thanks to the Hatton School of Performing Arts and loves to go back there when he can, to share what he has learnt from the business, with the rest of the pupils
