Alex divides his time between performing, arranging and teaching. 

Musical Director and/or Arranger credits include: In the Spotlight – Songs from the Musicals (Theatre tour), Dick Whittington (Theatr Colwyn), Call Me Madam (Upstairs at the Gatehouse), The Unsinkable Molly Brown (Landor Theatre), And The World Goes Round (Wyndhams Theatre), Rent (Broadway Studio), Fred & Gladys (Workshop), Cooking With Elvis and Into the Woods (Upstairs at the Gatehouse), Mack & Mabel (Broadway Studio), Sweeney Todd (Union Theatre); Swing it on Broadway (UK Tour), Annie Get Your Gun (Union Theatre) as well as various gala evenings and concert/cabaret tours. As a composer: Underscoring for the UK Premiere of The Diary of Anne Frank and Hobson's Choice (both at the Broadway Studio).

In addition, Alex has extensive performing experience in the West End, on tour, and in production shows in the UK and abroad. As a cabaret artist he has performed all over Europe including celebrity parties and guest work on cruise ships. As a session singer he has toured and recorded with PJ Proby, Billie Davis and several tribute artists, recorded voice tuition CDs as well as various concept recordings for new Musical Theatre pieces. In 2006 he released an album, ‘My Other Voice’, of Classical Crossover material using his unusual counter-tenor range.
